Tika Smith and I will be sharing on Cultural Literacy and Cultural Illiteracy. Given the events of the past several weeks in the United States we have been in prayer over how to address it. We have been talking for years together on race relations, raising our children, where God is in the middle of our lives and so much more as women. Not just black and white women, but WOMEN. We immediately clicked the day she interviewed for the phlebotomist job at our office. We both have been down and out in our lives and scraped our ways back up. We have cried together, eaten together and celebrated holidays and awards together.
Tika has incredible insight into the tensions building across the country. And I am honored to sit beside her Sunday Night and listen, learn and lean in with an open heart. Please prayerfully lift us up as we both speak form the heart.
