Did you know approximately 130 people die each day from an opioid-related overdoes. Additionally, in 2017, 1.7 million people in the United States were addicted to prescription opioids and approximately 652,000 suffered from heroin addiction.
In this episode I will be talking to an old friend of mine, Dr. Ben Sweeney, about his addiction to opioids that nearly ended his marriage, his career and his life. His story of recovery is empowering and inspirational. And one that I am honored he is willing to share with us. This will be his first time sharing publicly his very private addiction to pain killers.
